Our Patient Services Department will be in regular contact with you as you prepare for your visit to An Oasis of Healing. We are available to answer all your questions, make your arrangements for travel and lodging, and provide you with an overview of what to anticipate your first day and thereafter.
The first step in the process of becoming a patient is to schedule the initial consultation with Dr. Lodi.
You will need to plan to spend the entire day at the center on the day of your appointment. For patients traveling from out of town, the initial appointment can be scheduled at the beginning of your treatment program. The initial office visit with Dr. Lodi will take approximately two hours which will include:
At the end of your office visit, Dr. Lodi will write the orders for your individualized treatment program. During this time you will tour our facilities, meet our staff, learn more about the treatments we utilize and enjoy a delicious meal.
As soon as Dr. Lodi completes your orders, the cost for your treatment plan will be calculated. One of our patient counselors will meet with you to review the plan and cost involved. If desired, treatment can be scheduled and begin immediately.
Our New Patient Packet outlines the details of what medical records and information you will need to provide for your initial consultation.
1. All medical records for the last year, at minumum, to include the following:
2. A list of all the medications and dosages you are currently taking
3. Any nutritional supplements you are currently taking (bring bottles)
If time allows, a physical examination will be done at your initial consultation. If not, you will be asked to return the next day for the physical. You will also meet with our staff to review all components of your treatment plan including all costs and financial considerations, diet, and nutritional supplements.
We will provide you with an invoice at the time services are rendered. Payment can be made by cash, check, money orders, traveler’s checks, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.
We will give you the name and phone number of independent billing agents who may be able to help you file your medical expenses from our office with your insurance carrier and recoup some of your expenses. However, our Doctors do not participate in any Medicare or Medicaid programs. Therefore, claims will not be accepted by Medicare or any secondary insurance companies that require denials from Medicare first.
Our doctors and staff members’ time is valuable, so please honor them by giving at least 48 hours notice for all cancellations.
In considerations of all patients please do not wear any perfume, colognes, scented lotions or other strongly odiferous toiletries.
